This is the tea tag of my Thursday morning. I originally thought it said "Life is a gift, experience its beauty". Which got me thinking about this time we are all experiencing. Tuesday, I left my house, 7:30 in the morning, already stressed and upset. My stomach hurting, acid rising in my throat. I got to my my lovely, peaceful office and decided to try to write down at least 3 good things that happed that day. An attempt to reduce my focus on the ugly. But first I had to meditate. I was spinning out of control. After just a few minutes I felt more at peace and listed: meditation. It really does make a difference. Later in the day, i had lunch- also such a blessing that much of the world doesn't experience. I listed "very tasted blackberries". My day continued like that. Just noticing so many small but wonderful things that I usually just slide by, barely noticing. I now have a small notebook at my desk that I plan to continue making these little reminders in .
Have a blessed day and consider taking a minute to calm your mind, however you do that, and think of even the tiny gifts that have come into your day.
