Montrose Regional Health (MRH) has earned Tier 4 status in the Colorado Hospital Quality Incentive Payment (HQIP) Program, the highest level of recognition awarded by the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy & Financing (HCPF).

The HQIP program rewards hospitals for delivering high-quality care to patients with Medicaid. Hospitals are ranked from Tier 1 to Tier 4, with Tier 4 representing top performance based on strict measures of patient safety, outcomes, and quality of care.

Thank you to everyone who attended our open house at the San Juan Cancer Center! This location specializes in medical oncology services and features the state-of-the-art Francie Smiles Infusion Center.

Guests toured the facility, enjoyed refreshments, and heard from Jeff Mengenhausen, CEO; Eric Koval, Director of the San Juan Cancer Center; Kelly Anderson, Executive Director of the MRH Foundation; and Melissa Bonuales, Director of Quality Management. They shared insights on the 2025 Community Health Needs Assessment, an initiative that helps Montrose Regional Health provide the support our communities need.

Montrose Regional Health (MRH) will open its new Outpatient Infusion Clinic Nov. 5, 2025, located on the second floor of the original San Juan Cancer Center, 600 S. Fifth St. The clinic will provide IV therapy for a variety of chronic conditions, giving patients convenient, same-day treatment without the need for hospitalization.
