Honored to be featured in today’s Montrose Daily Press sharing why I started Montrose Direct Primary Care and what this clinic is all about. After years in traditional medicine, I wanted to build a practice that puts time, relationships, and real access back at the center of care.

At Montrose Direct Primary Care, patients get longer visits, same or next day access when possible, direct communication with me, and a focus on actually improving health not just writing prescriptions and rushing to the next patient.

The clinic is located at 16 S Cascade Ave in downtown Montrose and officially opens February 2. We’re also hosting an open house this Saturday January 31 from 2 to 4 pm. Stop by, see the space, ask questions, and meet me in person.

I put together a short video explaining how billing and insurance work in Direct Primary Care (DPC). This is one of the biggest points of confusion I hear from people here in Montrose.

DPC is straightforward, but it’s different from the traditional insurance-driven system most of us are used to. In the video, I explain what the monthly membership covers, how insurance still fits in, and why this model allows for more time, access, and transparency.

If you’ve ever felt frustrated by surprise bills, rushed visits, or not knowing what something will cost, this should help make things clearer.
