Does your body work better when the brain and body are connected or disconnected?

Unfortunately we got rained out last weekend. But good news! We have a make up date for our event with Bridge2SafetyOKC.

We will now be at the Crossroads Church on November 22nd from 12pm-4pm. Come by and have fun and help out a great cause with food and fun for the whole family!

Halloween doesn’t have to mean complete nervous system overload for you and your family!

Here’s how to enjoy all the fun while keeping everyone’s systems working their best:

1. Morning Movement
Start the day with a quick family walk or exercises. Get the nervous systems regulated early before the sugar takes over!
2. Protein First
Feed them a breakfast with protein to help stabilize blood sugar. This means a stable nervous system throughout the day.
3. Get Adjusted
Get your family their adjustments before Halloween to help prevent nervous system dysfunction!
4. Walk Don’t Drive
Turn trick-or-treating into beneficial family time. Walking helps process sugar and regulates the nervous system.
5. Calm the Chaos
Don't go to bed right after getting home and binging on candy. Use a relaxing bedtime routine to help those overstimulated nervous systems before bed.
6. Limit Sugar Windows
Instead of all-day binging, create specific times for sugar consumption. Your nervous systems will thank you in the long run!
