This March, we’re celebrating our Members of the Month: Brent and Tammy!!!

When Brent retired, he started noticing something he didn’t like; he felt like he was getting weaker. With grandsons to help raise and a life full of adventures still ahead, slowing down just wasn’t an option.

Tammy joined nearly 2 years ago after a season of feeling sluggish, unmotivated, and less active than she wanted to be. She found herself staying home more and feeling like her world was getting smaller.

Taking that first step into FBBC helped them start rebuilding not just their strength, but their energy and joy, too.

Now, Brent is lifting heavier and feeling stronger and more agile every day, even saying he’s walking “like I’m 40 years old” again. His biggest win? Feeling capable and confident whether he’s riding motorcycles, hiking trails, or keeping up with his grandsons.

Tammy is seeing more toned arms and thighs, and has lowered her visceral fat to a healthy level. She has more energy at home and can hike and adventure with her grandkids without feeling drained. For her, the real victory is living fully and maintaining the strength she’s worked so hard to build.

She says, "Now I have energy and motivation to go out. I look forward to exercising and feeling stronger. I feel better mentally and physically."

Brent’s advice is simple and straight to the point:
“Start as soon as possible. Any exercise is better than no exercise.”

Tammy reminds us to give ourselves grace:
"Take baby steps and treat yourself gently! I would not make myself exercise at home alone, but having friends to meet with in class who encourage each other gives me motivation to keep showing up! Remember, as long as you have breath, you have hope!"

We love that. No pressure. No perfection. Just progress and support.

Brent and Tammy show us that strength isn’t about age; it’s about choosing to keep going. They show up and put in the work. They encourage others. And they remind us that fitness is about living better, longer, and stronger for the people we love.

Brent and Tammy, we are so thankful you’re part of our fit fam!!! Watching your strength grow, inside and out, has been such a gift. 💙

Meet Dana! During our spring 2025 challenge she lost visceral fat and gained muscle! When she started the challenge she was worried that she, in her own words, “didn’t have enough discipline to follow through to the end. But I surprised myself! Not only does the challenge establish nutritional accountability it establishes healthy routines beyond the challenge ending.

I would tell anyone considering the challenge to just get started! Nothing gives me more satisfaction than to start my day at the 5am work out session! You’ll find a sense of belonging and it’s not just a gym, it’s family!
