Parkers Bend residents are bringing in the spring season with our faux flower designs we created during Art Class! Each resident got to create the bouquet of their dreams using decorative flowers, making sure their creativity last no matter the weather.

Learning about history and other cultures is one of our favorite things to highlight here at Parkers Bend. For this month’s Armchair Travel experience, we travelled to one of our staff members' home country, Turkey, to spotlight some of the incredible hand-made artwork & artifacts that came from their family! To top it all off, our culinary team prepared an excellent dinner & salad bar inspired by authentic Turkish cuisine!

Parkers Bend held its second annual Senior Prom – but this year we went back in time to the 70’s! We had a night full of disco dancing, desserts, drinks, and finishing with our vote for this years Prom King & Queen, Ginger & Enrico! They are pictured here with last year’s King & Queen, Lynn & Dale.What a night to remember!

Some of our talented residents gathered two years’ worth of art class masterpieces to display at the Moorestown Library for the entire month of February! Our resident Eileen also displayed some of her beautifully made personal artworks on the gallery wall. In addition, over 45+ residents and staff worked together to make our first community art project, which made it’s debut at the display! Read more about the inspiration behind the project!

All of Parkers Bend wishes the happiest of birthdays to these lovely ladies born in February! Our birthday residents were treated to an exclusive prepared dessert by our culinary team, a Bundt cake, and a birthday sing-a-long by our staff and fellow neighbors!

You are never too old to learn a thing or two! Our executive chef Geoff put together a wonderful “Do-It-Yourself” experience for our residents, learning how to make delicious chocolate croissants, and hearing from the expert about the science behind baking!

Our residents celebrated Fat Tuesday by creating their very own Mardi Gras masks! Using their creativity, they are sure to fit in at any festival!
