The Chrysalis Celebrated it's 5th anniversary on Friday! We celebrated with a networking event with other therapists and providers in the area. We were joined by who took our aura photographs and gave us personalized readings. Not terribly shocking to find that our therapists have very healing energies around them. We also had local psychic, Danielle Miller, join us for an absolutely sensational gallery reading.

In our 5 years, the Chrysalis has held 27,283 client sessions. That's 27,283 hours of healing, transformation, and growth. We are so proud to serve our community and hope to continue to grow and offer more benefit to those around us.

Art therapy helps bridge the gap between the emotional and rational parts of the brain. By externalizing feelings through color and shape, we create space for awareness, regulation, and healing.

Sometimes, words aren’t enough to describe how we feel — and that’s okay.
Try this simple art therapy exercise:
1. Pick 3–5 colors that represent your emotions today.
2. Let your hand move freely across the page — no rules, no perfection.
3. When you’re done, notice what you see and how you feel.

Your emotions don’t need to make sense — they just need space to move.
