To our patients, friends, and family,
For the health and safety of our patients, staff, their families, and our community, South Jersey Smiles will only be seeing emergency patients from March 17 to March 27. The ADA and numerous professional groups have recommended this closure time to help flatten the curve. We intend to adhere to it for the well-being of our patients and the community. We anticipate that all non-essential surgeries will soon receive a mandate from the state or federal government requiring them to shut down.
As important as dental treatment is to our health and self-esteem, seeing patients for regularly scheduled examinations and treatment can wait in uncertain and frankly dangerous times like these.
Administrative staff will be calling patients today to begin the process of rescheduling them to later dates. Due to the highly communicable nature of the Coronavirus we will be taking additional safety measures outside of our already stringent sterilization and disinfection practices.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation in these trying times. We are stronger as a community when we work together in the interest of everyone's safety and well-being.
