This school year, I’ve watched students return to school after being out of placement, exit basic skills, move from self-contained classrooms into inclusion, and gain the confidence to learn alongside their peers.

These aren’t small wins. These are life changing shifts in access, independence, and opportunity.

This is the work we do at EmpowerEd.
We get to know each learner, build trust, and provide the kind of individualized support that actually moves students forward in the classroom.

And the students? They are doing the hard work every single day.

I am incredibly proud of each of them.

🚗🏁 Race Night at EmpowerEd! 🏁🚗

So much fun, so much laughter, and so many meaningful moments packed into one evening 💙

Our racers had a blast with car-themed games, movement activities, and hands-on challenges that kept everyone engaged from start to finish. From cheering each other on to celebrating small wins, the energy in the room was incredible.

What makes EmpowerEd different is that every activity is intentionally designed to support social growth in a natural, low-pressure way. While the kids are having fun, they’re also building confidence, practicing communication, and learning how to connect with peers.

We’re so proud of the effort, teamwork, and joy we saw throughout the night. These moments matter and they add up.

EmpowerEd Summer Program Announcement 🌈

EmpowerEd will be offering a 6-week Emotional Regulation Intensive this summer using the Zones of Regulation framework.

This small group program is designed to support children in:
• Understanding their emotions
• Building strategies for regulation
• Strengthening communication skills

Students will participate in structured, engaging sessions focused on real-life application, while families receive weekly updates with practical strategies to support carryover at home.

🗓 Beginning the week of July 5 and running for 6 weeks
👥 Small group placement based on age, appropriate fit, and family availability
💲 $65 per session

Spots will be limited to maintain a small, supportive group environment.

At EmpowerEd, we believe every child deserves the support they need to feel confident and successful in their learning.

This summer, we’re offering academic support in reading and math for students who may benefit from extra guidance, including learners with IEPs and diverse learning needs. Sessions are designed to be engaging, supportive, and tailored to meet each child where they are.

Led by a certified special education teacher, EmpowerEd focuses on building foundational skills, strengthening confidence, and helping students maintain progress so they feel prepared heading into the next school year.

We offer both small group and 1:1 sessions, with a limited number of spots available for the summer.

EmpowerEd Teen Night: Two Experiences, One Powerful Evening

Finding your people isn’t always easy, especially for teens who feel different, struggle socially, or aren’t quite sure where they fit in. That’s exactly why we created this night.

On Saturday, April 25 from 6:00–8:00 PM, EmpowerEd will be hosting two groups at the same time, intentionally designed to give teens the space to open up, connect, and feel understood:

✨ Connection Circle: Finding Your People (Girls Group)
Led by Mrs. Glenn, this group focuses on helping girls build real, meaningful friendships through guided conversations, shared experiences, and confidence-building activities in a supportive, judgment-free space.

🔥 Level Up Night (Boys Group)
Led by Mr. Glenn, this group gives boys the opportunity to connect through team challenges, open discussions, and real conversations, all guided by a positive male role model who understands how to meet them where they are.

Each group is run separately to create comfort and encourage authentic conversation, while still being part of a larger, shared experience.

🍽️ Teens will come together for a relaxed comfort food dinner, giving them a natural, low-pressure opportunity to continue building connections across the group.

This isn’t just a social night. It’s a structured, thoughtfully facilitated experience designed by a certified special education teacher who understands how to support neurodivergent learners in building social confidence and real connections.

💬 Parents will receive detailed session notes with insights, strengths observed, and ways to continue supporting social growth at home.

Spots are intentionally limited to keep the experience personal, supportive, and impactful.

🕵🏽‍♀️ Whodunnit Mystery Night at EmpowerEd!

Tonight, our teens stepped into detective mode, working together to solve a mystery filled with clues, problem-solving, and teamwork.

From analyzing evidence to sharing ideas, the group stayed engaged, supported one another, and built on each other’s thinking the entire time. And yes… Team 1 cracked the case! 🎉

But beyond solving the mystery, what stood out most was the kindness, collaboration, and natural conversations that unfolded throughout the night. This is what EmpowerEd is all about…creating a space where teens feel comfortable, connected, and confident being themselves.

EmpowerEd is continuing to grow, and we’re excited to expand into a collaborative hub designed to support children and families through a multidisciplinary approach.

We are building a network of dedicated professionals who value collaboration, connection, and high-quality care.

We are currently looking to partner with:
• Speech Therapists (school-based or pediatric experience preferred)
• Occupational Therapists
• Physical Therapists
• BCBAs or Behavioral Specialists
• Mental Health Therapists
• Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners or Medication Providers
