If you need a modification for Mountain Climbers on the reformer, look no further!
Beginner: Hands remain on the foot bar the entire tome. Patrea is not putting weight on her hands, but they are providing her with extra stability.
Intermediate: Arms are crossed at chest level in “I Dream of Jeannie” style (IYKYK). This forces Emily to work on her balance and tones the muscles in the forward leg versus the beginner version.
Advanced: Arms are extended out above the head. This modification does everything the Intermediate version does, but is even more of a balance challenge! Your arms and core get a workout here as well.
Any of these can also be modified by changing the spring load on the reformer.
