⭐️Our February Star of the Month is Emma King!

Emma owns her own salon studio in Mooresville and lives in Cornelius with her boyfriend, Shane, their dog, and two cats. They love exploring North Carolina and take one big international and domestic trip each year!

Emma has been practicing Pilates for almost 1 year, and 15 to Fit Method Pilates is her first studio! She has a background in ballet, weightlifting, and yoga, and she started Pilates because she wanted functional fitness for longevity in her career.

She loves that Pilates has given her greater body awareness, she feels stronger and more balanced, and she is constantly checking her posture at work! She also loves that Pilates strengthens the mind-body connection.

Emma loves 15 to Fit Method Pilates because “The instructors truly care and are so attentive. Even in a full class, they tailor movements to each individual. You never feel left behind!”

Emma’s advice to someone who is considering starting Pilates at 15 to Fit is “DO IT!!!!”

⭐️Our January Star of the Month is Michelle!

Michelle Caamano is a 53-year-old nurse working in functional medicine, where she encourages patients every day to live healthier, more active lives. What finally pushed her to start her own exercise journey was the realization that she wasn’t following the same advice she was giving others. After hearing several patients talk about how much they enjoyed Pilates, she decided to try a class for herself—and it didn’t take long to make an impression.

Michelle says she fell in love with Pilates after just one class. She’s now been practicing for over a year and appreciates how each session leaves her feeling restored rather than exhausted. Pilates allows her to work many muscle groups efficiently without the fatigue she experienced with traditional gym workouts, which has made it easy to stay consistent.

Since starting Pilates, Michelle has seen meaningful changes in how she feels day to day. Her posture has improved, her core is stronger, and she experiences much less leg fatigue after long shifts at work. She has also noticed a reduction in neck and shoulder discomfort, which has made a big difference in her overall comfort and energy.

After trying many different programs over the years, Michelle believes the key to sticking with exercise is finding something that feels right for you. For her, Pilates was that connection. She encourages others not to give up, reminding them that it’s never too late to start and that investing in your health is always worth it.

What Michelle appreciates most about 15 to Fit Pilates is the small, boutique environment. She values the personal attention, small class sizes, and instructors who truly take the time to understand each client’s needs, including medical or physical limitations. Knowing she can get a well-rounded workout without worrying about injury has made her experience even more meaningful. Michelle is grateful for the care, knowledge, and support she receives and considers 15 to Fit Pilates a true gem.
