We are excited to offer focused shockwave therapy (ESWT) as an additional treatment service at The Human Body Shop! 💪

What’s shockwave? ⚡🌊

Shockwave uses sound waves (not electricity) to help your body heal itself. 

Short bursts of high energy sound waves pe*****te deep into your tissues (our class III device goes up to 12cm!). This increases blood flow, breaks up scar tissue, and signals your body to release stem cells and other repair cells to that area for a stronger healing response. 🔊

Does it hurt? 🤕

Yes and no, the goal is to reproduce the pain you are feeling so the shockwaves can release it. Some discomfort is expected (4-5/10) and beneficial for better results. 

Do I have to rest after? 🤾‍♀️

No! Results are apparent immediately after your first session, you can go back to your normal life and activities right away and enjoy the relief.
