From my heart to yours. Lastnight after dinner I cleaned up the kitchen and turned out the lights and talked to the full moon as it rose over the neighbors house across the street. I’m glad we finally put a kitchen table in since I had not noticed the full moon this way. It was gorgeous! I talked about the things I’m grateful for and all of my blessings and the friendships I’ve made, and the peopkr I’ve met in our shop. And our home that I’ve been in all of my life. II grew up in and then visited my parents in, which was almost daily. Also my family and friends and the fur children.
Then I got up today and didn’t want to leave our house and go to work. I’m having a hard time as we wind down our 13 years in business and 8 years in the shop we rent. I love the house at 121 West Statesville Avenue and in January it will be a space for someone else. I’m happy about that because we have struggled financially for years, trying to keep the rent paid, all the utilities and stocking it. We have been doing that with our Social Security check for a few years. Having said that… I’m thankful for having the opportunity to have a shop like ours. We worked all thru the Covid shutdown but because of people buying more online than in person.. we are going home to do art and do readings very soon.
I will miss Cosmic Connection and it’s like leaving my baby behind. I always said when you were in our shop you were standing in my imagination. I’ve loved it and so has Chris. Please do your shopping for the holidays early if you plan to do it with us. Things are selling out. We put different things on sale as we decide not to restock them … but I take things home too. Come see us. Small business is struggling everywhere and we have great rent and wonderful landlords, I can’t imagine how the stores on Main Street and Broad Street survive with the increasingly higher rent. Happy Full Moon! We will be in the shop until 5:00 Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Thursday we are open until 6:00. Our Sterling Silver Pendants and Rings are 30% off this week and the herbs are still on sale. Time to do your holiday shopping or give yourself a nice treat. We open at 11:00.

Happy Halloween, Witches and others that frequent our shop. We will be closing for the day at 5:00 so we can be ready for our Trick OR Treaters at home. Nice to have it on a Friday. Have fun out there and be safe. We will be in the shop today 11:00 until 5:00 and Chris will be doing Tarot Readings after noon. Also open Saturday from 11 until 5.
