The team at Meadow Lakes is happy to announce Shelby Adams as our 2025 Quest for Excellence winner. Shelby has been an outstanding team member at American Senior Communities for 10 years, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to excellence in every role she has held.

Beginning her journey as a Dietary Aide, Shelby steadily advanced to become a Licensed Practical Nurse and is now furthering her education to achieve her Registered Nurse credentials. This progression is a true testament to her dedication, perseverance, and passion for providing exceptional care to others.

Her work is driven by a deep sense of compassion and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of those she serves. Shelby exemplifies the core values of American Senior Communities with integrity, commitment, and heart. She continues to inspire her peers through her leadership as a preceptor and her continual pursuit of excellence.

Outside of her professional accomplishments, Shelby is a devoted wife and mother of two, who finds joy in family adventures, reading, and spending time outdoors. Her home is filled with love and energy, shared with her two fun-loving dogs.
