About 38 million Americans suffer from migraine headaches. Around 91% of them also deal with disabilities caused by migraines. Most treatments involve medications, but these usually only relieve symptoms and don’t address the root cause.
Research shows that chiropractic spinal adjustments can reduce migraine pain, shorten how long migraines last, and lower the number of migraine days. Adjustments improve how the brain and nervous system work and may help balance hormones linked to migraine pain. Chiropractors gently realign the spine to improve communication between the brain and body. Misalignments can come from injuries or stress and may lead to migraines.
Along with adjustments, chiropractors may suggest exercises, deep breathing, massage, stretching, better nutrition, and posture changes to further reduce migraine issues.
Many people think medicine is the only option, but migraine drugs often have serious side effects like toxicity, addiction, or more health problems. They usually don’t fix the root cause. Chiropractic offers a drug-free approach by focusing on nervous system health and long-term relief. Before relying on another pill, "every migraine sufferer deserves the hope of Chiropractic."
