Humphrey, a tireless advocate for social justice, education, and community empowerment, has left an indelible mark on this vibrant community. His vision for a fairer, more inclusive society continues to inspire initiatives like EOSIS, which focuses on providing substance use disorder treatment to adults in need.

As we work together to build stronger, more resilient futures, we honor Humphrey’s commitment to service and the values that still guide us today. Here's to new beginnings and making meaningful change—just as he would have wanted!

Born in South Dakota, Humprey was a Minnesota senator and vice president under Lyndon Johnson. Humprey and his wife Murial moved their family to Waverly in the 1950s, naming the home Triple H.
