Making your mental health a priority doesn’t always look dramatic.
Sometimes it looks like saying no.
Sometimes it looks like resting.
Sometimes it looks like finally choosing yourself.

Small shifts create real change.
Protecting your energy matters.
Your needs matter.
You matter.

Consider this your reminder:
You are allowed to take your mental health seriously.

Beating kids in games (in a loving, supportive way 😉) can actually be one of the best ways to teach real-life coping skills.

Losing helps them practice:
• tolerating frustration
• managing big feelings
• trying again after disappointment
• celebrating others’ success
• understanding that effort > outcome

When adults don’t always “let them win,” we’re not being mean, we’re giving them safe & manageable opportunities to build resilience.

Because the goal isn’t to win the game.
It’s to help them win at handling life. 💛

You don't need to earn rest.
You don't need to justify boundaries.
You don't need to be perfect to be worthy.
Just be human today.

No but really, that’s called rapport.

Sometimes the conversation flows so naturally that we follow what feels safe and alive in the moment instead of rigidly checking boxes. And clinically? That matters.

Because when a client feels comfortable, laughs, tangents, and opens up organically, their nervous system is signaling trust. That sense of safety is the foundation of good therapy, not a perfectly structured intake.

Do I still need your history? Yes.
Did your brain finally feel safe enough to talk? Also yes.

And honestly, I’ll take “easy to talk to and real” over “perfectly efficient and structured” every time.

The intake can be redone.
Rapport can’t be rushed.

Not your average therapy office.
And we’re not trying to be.

We believe therapy should feel like you.
Collaborative. Honest. A little different.

No boxes. No scripts. No pretending.

Just real humans doing real work.

Your brain says:
“Everyone saw that.”

Reality says:
They’re thinking about their own lives.

Anxiety isn’t intuition.
It’s a very dramatic narrator.

National LGBTQ+ Health Awareness Week starts today.

A reminder that affirming care is not a bonus feature in healthcare, it’s essential.

Everyone deserves providers who listen, respect identity, and create spaces where people can show up as their full selves.

We’re proud to support LGBTQIA+ mental health and continue learning how to do it better every day.

Because everybody deserves care that actually listens, learns & speaks out.

Last Thursday we stepped away from the therapy office and into a room full of creativity at the UnCon conference.

We learned, we connected, we filled our notebooks with ideas, and we left feeling even more inspired about how we show up for our clients and our community.

Because growing as clinicians also means staying curious, creative, and willing to learn. ✨

Thank you to Unglued for creating a space where small businesses and big ideas can thrive.

International Women’s Day is for all women and their experiences—joyful and painful, visible and unseen, celebrated and overlooked.

We honor cis women, trans women, nonbinary people who identify with womanhood, and women living at the intersections of identity, culture, ability, and survival.

Your story matters. Your mental health matters. You deserve care that sees you fully—not just on days of celebration, but every day.

Sugar, spice, and everything Eclectic.

Today the three owners are finally back in one place for UNCON… and honestly it feels a little powerpuff girls coded.

Three therapists
Three very different brains
One shared mission: build something bold, creative, and client-centered.

Saving the world (or at least the mental health space) one session at a time 💚🩷🩵

A lot of what we work on in therapy isn’t “fixing” you.
It’s unlearning what you were never taught and relearning what you deserved all along.

Healing often looks like giving yourself what you didn’t get.
