Our staff and escorts wish you a Happy Halloween! 🎃 We dressed up as the Daily Planet’s Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Jimmy Olson, Perry White and Cat Grant. Some bad guys such as Lex Luthor & his sister, Lexie Luthor, showed up to bother us. Wonder Woman popped in to assist SuperMan capture all the bad guys including Granny Goodness!

September 28 is International Safe Abortion Day, also recognized as the Day of Action for Access to Safe and Legal Abortion. Its origins lie in Latin America and the Caribbean, where women’s groups have been mobilizing for over two decades to demand that their governments:

• Decriminalize abortion
• Provide safe and affordable abortion services
• End stigma and discrimination toward people who choose abortion

The campaign’s original name, Campaña 28 de Septiembre por la Despenalización del Ab**to, continues to grow in force thanks to the dedication of women’s rights activists in the region. The date was chosen to commemorate the abolition of slavery in Brazil, known as the “day of the free womb,” linking the fight for reproductive freedom to broader struggles for justice and equality.

Here in the U.S., independent abortion clinics provide the majority of abortion care, yet they remain underfunded and under constant attack. While governments often fail to value healthcare and protect access, these clinics continue to show up daily, offering expert, compassionate care because our communities deserve nothing less.

Today Mife turns 25! We first began offering mifepristone to our patients in 2007 after a patient specifically requested this option. It is now used by 50% of our patients to safely end their pregnancy. We celebrate Mife and the important contribution it has made to reproductive healthcare!
