Happy Friday Eve!☀️💛

We had such a fun day today — like every other day — but today was extra fun!😜 Our competitive sides definitely came out when we tried a new game called Dusterball… let’s just say, no one was holding back! There was lots of cheering, strategizing, and a few “friendly” rivalries that made it even better!

After working up all that excitement, we slowed things down with a beautiful virtual tour of Venice. The canals, the architecture, the charm — it felt like we were strolling right through Italy together.🌊✨

And to top it all off, we had the sweetest surprise — Bert came to lead us in Bible Study! We always love when Bert joins us. The fellowship, encouragement, and time spent together filled our hearts in the best way.💙

Days like today remind us how special our time together truly is. We can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!

At Americare, Wellness isn’t a program – it’s a way of life. Through Flourish Wellness, we create opportunities for residents to live with vitality, meaning, and personal fulfillment at every age and ability level.

Activity: Ursula performance & coloring for Ash Wednesday

Story: This morning felt extra special the moment Ursula walked into the room with her music and that beautiful smile of hers.🎶✨

She didn’t just sing to us — she sang with us. One song turned into two, and before long the whole room was chiming in. You could see shoulders relax, toes start tapping, and smiles slowly spread from chair to chair. There’s something powerful about familiar songs… they bring back memories, spark laughter, and remind us we’re not alone in the moment.

As her voice filled the room, we shifted into coloring our pictures for Ash Wednesday. The sound of soft humming mixed with crayons on paper created the sweetest kind of peace. Some residents sang along, some listened quietly, and others shared stories about Ash Wednesdays from years past — traditions, church services, family dinners. It became more than just an activity.

It became connection.🤍

That’s social wellness in action — gathering together, sharing music, stories, and laughter, building bonds that make this place feel like home. No one was sitting alone. Every voice mattered.

And it was spiritual wellness too — reflecting, remembering, preparing our hearts for the season ahead. Through song and creativity, there was a sense of meaning and calm that you could truly feel in the room.

Music has a way of touching both the heart and the soul. Today, Ursula reminded us that sometimes the simplest moments — singing together and coloring side by side — are the ones that fill us up the most.💚

Feeling so incredibly grateful!💖

Our Valentine’s Day raffle benefiting the Parkinson’s Foundation was a huge success — together we raised $243!🎉

Congratulations to our winner, Dave Harper!🥳 thank you for supporting our fundraiser!

Our community truly showed up and showed out, and we couldn’t be more thankful for the love and support. Every ticket purchased, every share, and every encouraging word means so much — not just to us, but to the individuals and families impacted by Parkinson’s.

Happy Tuesday from your favorites!💃🕺✨

We had a FULL and busy day over here!

This morning we started off strong with dance class — busting out the moves to “YMCA,” “Macarena,” and of course “The Chicken Dance” (which was by far the crowd favorite😜🐔). Safe to say we got our steps in!

Then we tried out our brand new game, Granny Pants, during Group Therapy — and let’s just say the laughs were nonstop!🤭

We wrapped up the day with Bingo and trivia, because what’s a great day without a little friendly competition?🎉

Now we are officially ready for some rest and relaxation tonight!💆‍♀️💤

What a fantastic day!💖🌷

We are so incredibly thankful for the families and friends who came out to enjoy a special Valentine’s luncheon with us and their loved ones today. Your presence made the day even sweeter!

From our King & Queen coronation to sparkling juice served in heart-shaped glasses, chocolates, beautiful flowers, and a delicious meal shared together — the room was filled with love, laughter, and so many special moments.

It was truly a wonderful day! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for celebrating with us.

Valentine’s Day at Moran Manor!💖✨

What an extraordinarily beautiful, love-filled day at Moran Manor!

This morning, we kicked things off in the sweetest way — whipping up homemade banana pudding for tomorrow’s Valentine’s Luncheon. And of course… quality control was absolutely necessary😉 It proudly earned the official stamp of approval!

This afternoon, we turned up the fun at our Valentine’s Party!💕 We enjoyed heart-shaped egg salad sandwiches, the deviled strawberries we made yesterday, cookies, and a chocolate fondue pot overflowing with strawberries, pineapple, and marshmallows. Add in some strawberry soda and you’ve got yourself a party!

One of the sweetest parts of the day? A few of our residents shared their best love advice — and let me tell you, when you’ve lived that much life, you’ve got wisdom worth listening to.❤️

We wrapped up the day watching the live-action Beauty and the Beast, the perfect ending to a day full of love and laughter.

Our bellies are stuffed, our hearts are full, our sides hurt from laughing, and our eyes are heavy as we daydream about our beds😅😂

Happy Thursday from our party crew!🥳💖

We had the sweetest day! From the moment you walk through the doors, you can feel the joy — if the sound of laughter doesn’t give it away first😜😂 The smiles were contagious and the fun just kept rolling!

We tuned in to the Valentine’s Day Parade in Paris, which somehow turned into our own little parade down the hallways… we’re still not exactly sure how that happened, but we do know it involved lots of giggles and a whole lot of spirit!🇫🇷💃

After our international adventure, we headed to the dining room to whip up Deviled Strawberries topped with whipped cream cheese and graham cracker crumbles — and yes, quality control was absolutely required😜🍓 They were a hit!

We are counting down the hours until our Valentine’s Day Party tomorrow, and if today was any indication, it’s going to be full of love, laughter, and maybe just a little more parade action💖

From friendly rounds of trivia with our residents to helping the kiddos tackle their homework after school, we’ve been putting our brains to work in the best way. Trivia sparks memory recall, critical thinking, and healthy competition (with lots of laughs in between😉). And homework time? That’s all about problem-solving, patience, and building confidence one assignment at a time.

But the best part? These moments don’t just strengthen Intellectual Wellness — they nurture Social Wellness too. Trivia brings connection and conversation. Homework time creates bonding, trust, and teamwork. Learning together builds relationships.

Because whether you’re 7 or 97, growing your mind and growing your connections go hand in hand.💚

We had such a fun & full day- the kind that leaves everyone smiling and tired in the best way!💖✨

We kicked things off with Group Therapy playing the alphabet game with a food category — tossing bean bags into the center when we got it right!🎯🍎 Then we loaded up and headed to Walmart for our shopping trip🛒.

This afternoon we wrapped things up with Bingo and creating Valentine’s cards for our loved ones and friends💌❤️

SUPER BOWL SUNDAY!🏈🎉

Some came for the football, some came for the commercials, and some came strictly for the food😜 No matter the reason, fun was had by ALL! From playing our own game of football to cheering from the sidelines, and of course watching the littles run around until they completely wore themselves (and us) out — it was a day full of laughs, energy, and great memories!

Now… we are officially POOPED😅 I think it’s safe to say we’ll all be sleeping in just a little tomorrow😂
