Happy Wednesday!🌈☘️

We may have failed at taking pictures today, but we definitely succeeded in having a busy and fun day! This morning we held our monthly Resident Council, giving everyone a chance to share ideas, updates, and things they’d like to see around Moran Manor.

This afternoon we headed to the kitchen and whipped up some Lucky Charms Cookie Bars to celebrate one of our favorite nurses’ birthdays!💜 It was a sweet treat and a fun way to spend the afternoon together.

We’re looking for volunteers at Moran Manor!💙

Our Activity Department is searching for community members who would love to spend time with our residents by leading games, helping with crafts, calling bingo, or simply sharing their talents. Even a little bit of time can make a big difference in someone’s day!

Volunteering at Moran Manor is also a great way to get your foot in the door if you’re interested in becoming a CNA or CMA, and it looks wonderful on college applications, resumes, and scholarship opportunities.

If you enjoy making people smile and want to be part of something meaningful, we would love to have you join us!

Happy Tuesday!☀️

This morning we kicked things off with a lively round of noodle ball during group therapy! There were lots of laughs and it was such a fun way to get our bodies moving and our energy flowing.

After working up a sweat, we slowed things down and enjoyed watching The Super Mario Bros. Movie in honor of National Mario Day. It was the perfect way to relax together and bring back some fun memories!

This afternoon we wrapped up the day with bingo, which quickly turned into an intense game of trivia between rounds. The friendly competition kept everyone on their toes and made for a lot of smiles and laughter!🎉

Activity: Tulip Planting & Easter Egg Filling

Story: Today was a wonderful day focused on two important parts of wellness here at Moran Manor — Environmental Wellness and Social Wellness.🌷💛

Our residents spent part of the day planting the beautiful tulip bulbs we received from our Tulip Drive. Getting our hands in the soil, feeling the sunshine, and working together to create something that will bloom later this spring is such a meaningful way to connect with nature. Activities like this support Environmental Wellness, helping us live in harmony with the world around us while promoting relaxation, healing, and overall well-being.

Later, the fun continued as residents gathered around the table to help fill Easter eggs for our upcoming Easter Egg Hunt.🐣 This time together was filled with laughter, conversation, and teamwork as everyone worked side by side preparing for the community event. Moments like these nurture Social Wellness, strengthening friendships and creating a sense of belonging.

From planting flowers that will brighten our grounds to preparing eggs that will bring smiles to children, today was a beautiful reminder that wellness can grow in so many ways.🌷🥚💖

Story: We had such a wonderful afternoon as Lynn Oliphant filled our halls with classic country tunes.🎶

From the first song, residents were tapping their toes, singing along, and sharing sweet memories with one another. What started as a performance quickly turned into laughter, conversation, and connection.

Music has a special way of bringing people together, and today was a beautiful example of Social Wellness in action — building friendships, sparking joy, and creating moments we’ll be talking about for days to come.💛

Happy (almost!) end of the day from us!☀️💛

We had SO much fun in Group Therapy playing with the parachute — one of our all-time favorites! As our circle kept getting bigger and bigger, the sound of laughter filled the room and drew others out to see what all the fun was about. Before we knew it, we had a crowd watching, smiling, and eventually joining right in!

There is just something so heartwarming about seeing everyone out of their rooms, mingling, forging friendships, and creating sweet memories together. Moments like these are exactly why we love what we do.💫

We’re already looking forward to what tomorrow has in store!
