Happy Thursday!✨

Wow, what a day!
We had such a fun and amazing time making our very first Easter treat—Bunny Bait!🐰🍫

A huge thank you to Russell Stover’s in Iola for delivering delicious chocolate-covered marshmallows for both our residents and staff—we appreciate you so much!

This afternoon, James led us in Easter Communion, and it was absolutely beautiful. We truly enjoyed coming together in worship.

We wrapped up our day by getting creative and making Easter paper plate frisbees—so much fun!💛

Happy Tuesday!✨
We had an absolutely wonderful day today! We kicked things off with an energetic session of Group Therapy, followed by a classic game of Bingo. To get into the holiday spirit, we hosted a competitive round of Easter Trivia—did you know the first-ever Easter eggs were actually dyed red?🤯
The excitement continued into the afternoon when our Activity Director surprised everyone with a full movie theater experience! Residents received showtime tickets and enjoyed a stocked concession stand with fresh popcorn and soda while watching the classic Fried Green Tomatoes. It was a 5-star day all around!🍿🥤

Happy Friday!✨

we may have failed at taking pictures, and also posting on Facebook, but we sure have succeeded at having fun!

the past couple of days we have had so much fun singing along with Lynn Oliphant, playing Thumb Ball, and enjoying our Movie Friday! today’s movie pick was Night at the Museum🫶🏼

we wouldn’t trade these laughs, memories, and moments together for anything—here’s to ending the week on a high note and carrying the fun right into the weekend!💛🎬

Happy Wednesday!✨

We’ve had such a fun and busy couple of days! Yesterday, we celebrated our March birthdays with cookies & cream ice cream and the residents’ favorite—double chocolate chip cookies!🍦🍪

Today, we got creative and made Easter egg sun-catchers, and we are absolutely loving how they turned out!🌸🐣

We love filling our days with laughter, creativity, and sweet moments like these—there’s never a dull moment around here!💛✨

what a beautiful start to a new week—even if it was a little chilly out!

today we tapped into our creative side and painted Easter eggs with watercolors. we spent the time sharing stories, lots of laughs, and reminiscing on our favorite Easter traditions🐣🎨💛

Happy Early Easter from your favorites at Moran Manor!🐣💛

WOW wow wow… we truly have NO words for how incredible today was! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who came out to our Easter Egg Hunt—we loved celebrating with each and every one of you!🫶🏼

Our amazing residents filled 864 eggs, and our Activity Director finished out the rest, bringing us to a grand total of 1,214 eggs scattered across our “egg field” today!🥚✨ Some lucky eggs even had GOLD coins inside… thanks to the Easter Bunny hopping around and sneaking them into baskets during the hunt!🐰💰

If your kiddo found a gold coin—you’re officially a Moran Manor MVP!🏆💛

We were also so excited to have Los Tres Pollitos on site serving up some delicious tacos—seriously the perfect addition to an already amazing day!🌮🔥

And can we talk about our Easter Bunny?! Dressed for that 90° weather in pink shorts and running around with the kiddos—it was definitely a crowd favorite!☀️🐰 Safe to say, the Bunny has officially clocked out and is headed to the beach for a pre-Easter vacation!🌴😎

We had the BEST time and can’t wait to do it all again next year!

Los Tres Pollitos will be set up at Moran Manor TOMORROW (3/21) from 12–4 PM during our Easter Egg Hunt! We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone and enjoy some delicious tacos together!💛🐰

We took advantage of the beautiful weather and spent some time outdoors relaxing together with sodas, snacks, and a fun game of Thumb Ball! There’s just something special about being outside, sharing laughs, and enjoying each other’s company.

Happy Sunday!🫶🏼💙

a couple days late, but better late than never! we had such a fun and meaningful day on Friday. we want to send a huge thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Hope Chapel for the amazing worship and bible study they shared with us.🫶🏼✝️ from meaningful conversations while getting to know one another, to singing Amazing Grace together, it was truly such a special time.

after bible study, the residents picked the movie College Road Trip, which gave us plenty of laughs!🎬 we also received a few more shamrocks in the mail and are getting closer to filling in our Shamrocks Across America map!🍀

this next week may be starting off a little chilly, but it’s Spring Break! we have a busy and exciting week ahead and can’t wait to see what fun it brings.💐
