The Carteret County Health Department will offer COVID vaccines to teens ages 12 to 17 to reduce their chances of contracting COVID-19 and prevent virus-related hospitalization and death. Individuals who wish to make an appointment for their teen to receive the vaccine can call (252) 728-8550 and select Option 2.

Crystal Coast Family Practice now offering Telehealth!

You may now have a Virtual Visit with your personal clinician and remain safely at home. All you need is a mobile phone, I Pad, laptop or desktop computer with a camera and microphone. We offer two convenient ways to take advantage of a two-way, real time audio & video session with your clinician. If you have a Follow My Health secure patient portal account, you may request an appointment and conduct your visit through the portal. If you do not have an account, it is very easy to request one by logging on to our website at www.crystalcoastfp.net and click on the Patient Portal Log In tab, then click "I Need to Sign Up."

During the COVID-19 crisis, CMS has waived the HIPAA privacy and security rules and if it is more convenient for you, applications like Face Time, Skype, Duo, Hangouts, etc may be used.

Just call for an appointment and our schedulers will set you up with your personal clinician using the method of your choice. If you have a telephone only, without video capabilities, Medicare and most carriers have made some exceptions and we may still conduct a virtual visit by telephone only.
