I wanted to share some updated information. If you are interested in scheduling an appointment, please call or text me at 252-422-1655 or email me at susansullivanlcsw@gmail.com. I am in the office Tuesday through Thursday from 8-5. I am also seeing clients via zoom and have some flexibility outside of those hours. I look forward to hearing from you and finding out if I can be helpful to you.

Please contact me if you are interested in individual, family or couples counseling. We can talk to discover if I am a good fit for you.

I am not in-network for any insurance. A form for reimbursement is provided at time of service. Some clients with Blue Cross are reimbursed at 80% and some not at all. Please reach out to your insurance to determine your benefits. Medicare will not reimburse and you would need to sign a form indicating that you are aware that I am not a provider. Some secondary insurance does provide reimbursement once Medicare denies. I try to be upfront about this as I do not want to add to anyone's stress with financial or paperwork burdens.

I accept cash, check, credit card, Venmo and PayPal at the time of appointment. Fee is $125 per session. I have a 24 hr. cancellation policy or you will be billed for the appointment.

My office is located at 4218 Arendell Street which is the three story Doctors office across from Bojangles. My office is located on the 3rd floor with Moore Orthopedic. There is no need to check in with anyone and I will be out to greet you and bring you back to my office. If it is your first appointment, please come 10 minutes early to fill out the forms on the clipboard in the blue box which is between the two benches.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me. It is important that my clients feel cared for and respected.

Today is World Mental Health Day. The past months have brought many challenges: for health-care workers, providing care in difficult circumstances, going to work fearful of bringing COVID-19 home with them; for students, adapting to taking classes from home, with little contact with teachers and friends, and anxious about their futures; for workers whose livelihoods are threatened; and for people with mental health conditions, many experiencing even greater social isolation than before.

There is help. Visit http://carteretcountync.gov/DocumentCenter/View/6654/Carteret-County-Behavioral-Health-and-Substance-Use-Resources?bidId= for the Carteret County Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse resource list.
