Here is your Monday morning reminder that healing doesn’t only happen in group rooms, it happens out here too. Fresh air, a little competition on the field, some laughs, and real connection. ⚾️☀️

Strong communities are built through collaboration and we’re proud to highlight a powerful example of that in action. 💙

We want to extend our sincere gratitude to our local police department for partnering with us to bring a RAD (R**e Aggression Defense) class to the women in our program. This initiative was driven by the voices of our participants, who expressed a desire to learn self-defense and build confidence in their personal safety.

Because of this collaboration, our women were given the opportunity to gain practical skills, increase their awareness, and strengthen their sense of empowerment both in recovery and in life.

Special thanks to Officer Jody Grigsby and Leah Whitley. This is what it looks like when a community listens, responds, and shows up. Together, we’re not only supporting recovery we’re building safer, stronger futures.
