Today is the start of National Infant Immunization Week! This week showcases the importance of getting your baby’s immunizations on time to ensure they can live a full and long life, knowing they're protected from preventable, potentially devastating diseases such as measles, polio and RSV.
In recent year’s trends, pediatricians have witnessed a concerning decline in children—especially infants under two—who have received their routine vaccinations on schedule. Remember, vaccines aren’t new. They are safe, rigorously tested and proven to be effective in preventing disease.

Riverside University Health System remains committed to supporting continued access to care through the current Management Services Agreement.

As Sandra Anaya’s tenure as Chief Executive Officer of Palo Verde Hospital comes to a close, leadership from Riverside University Health System Medical Center and Clinics will continue overseeing hospital operations under the current 180-day Management Services Agreement with the Palo Verde Healthcare District.

This temporary agreement ensures continued oversight of the Emergency Department, clinic services, and supporting departments, while maintaining uninterrupted patient care for the Blythe community. The full media statement can be found at www.paloverdehospital.org.

Expectant parents! Join us for our monthly RUHS New Beginnings Class to prepare for all aspects of Labor and Delivery. During this class, you will learn about the different labor stages, pain relief options, birth planning and partner support.

Each class is hosted by our expert Labor and Delivery team, who are here to answer your questions so you can feel calm and confident during your labor experience.

Classes take place every third Saturday of the month. Upcoming class dates: April 18th, May 16, June 20, July 18, August 15
