A Fun CPR Class is a training site for the City of Moreno Valley Training Center for the American Heart Association. We believe that CPR and First Aid Training should be fun and enjoyable. Our training is readily available, affordable, and taught in a relaxing stress free atmosphere. Owner of A Fun CPR Class: Candy Jonasson RN PHN MSN has been a Registered Nurse for over 25 years. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Biola University and a Master’s degree from Loma Linda University in nursing. As a RN she has worked in the hospital for 15 years and has been a Credential School Nurse for over 10 years. Candy was voted School Nurse Administrator of the 2010-2011 school year for the Riverside and San Bernardino Counties by CSNO. Candy became an American Heart Association CPR instructor in 2004. She recognized the need for making CPR training enjoyable and affordable thereby created "A Fun CPR Class". In addition, she created the Instructor's Network to provide easily accessible resources and training for American Heart Association CPR instructors.

The American Heart Association is proud to release our first-ever Hands-Only CPR + AED video featuring a female victim.

A 2018 study published in the Circulation: Cardiovascular Quality and Outcomes, found that 45% of men received bystander CPR compared with only 39% of women. In the study, men also had 23% higher odds of survival than women.

As a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives, the AHA is working tirelessly to inform and empower all Americans to step in during a cardiac arrest – regardless of race, background, or gender.

When Liberty student Anthony La Bianca learned CPR, he never expected to actually use it, much less during a summer camp.
Doing compressions on a lifeless body, La Bianca and others were able to save the life of a fellow camp staff member and witness a miracle from God in the process.

A Fun CPR Class started in 2004 as a training site for the City of Moreno Valley Training Center with the American Heart Association. When the City of Moreno Valley stopped being a Training Center, we re-aligned with another Training Center and began offering CPR classes on our own. We believe that CPR and First Aid Training should be fun and enjoyable. Our training is readily available, affordable, and taught in a relaxing stress free atmosphere. Questions are encouraged.
