On April 1st, we celebrated an incredible 12-year journey while also saying a heartfelt farewell to someone who has truly been part of our foundation—Leah Abel Wells ❤️

Since the very beginning of our clinic, Leah has been a constant source of dedication, compassion, and growth. Throughout the years, she has worn many hats—massage therapist, medical assistant, ultrasound tech, and quality measure coordinator—always stepping in wherever she was needed and giving her very best to our patients and our team.

Her commitment and versatility have played a huge role in shaping who we are today. The impact she has made over the past 12 years will always be part of our story and our legacy.

As Leah moves on to continue growing her career and focusing on the future of herself and her growing family, we do so with both gratitude and bittersweet emotion. While she will be deeply missed, we are incredibly proud of all she has accomplished and excited for what lies ahead.

Today, Prevention Plus celebrates our 12th anniversary. As we look back on over a decade of serving our community, our hearts are full of gratitude—and one very special memory.

None of this would be possible without the vision of our founder, Dr. Peter M. Abel. Though he is no longer with us, his mission to provide compassionate, comprehensive care remains the heartbeat of this clinic. Every life-saving screening we perform and every wellness journey we support is a tribute to the standard of excellence he set in 2014.
