POSTURAL INTEGRATION PROGRESS

Before: April 2024 (Age 14)
After: October 2025 (Age 16)

My client began Functional Patterns training with me in April 2024 with the goal of improving his posture, movement, and overall health. He reported no pain or injury. We met once per month, and he remained consistent with his homework between sessions.

Over the course of 18 months, the following improvements were observed:

✅ Improved scapular stacking and shoulder blade positioning
✅ Improved ribcage-to-pelvis alignment
✅ Increased intra-abdominal control
✅ Reduced visceral fat and improved body composition
✅ Upright posture maintained passively with less effort
✅ Greater walking and sprinting efficiency

He now sprints multiple times per week and reports easier breathing, improved posture, and greater confidence in his movement.

These results reflect the impact of prioritizing the four motions that define human biomechanics: Standing, Walking, Running, and Throwing—and using to measurably improve those foundational functions.

ADDRESSING FORWARD HEAD POSTURE AND MORE

Initial Postural Issues (Before Video: August 2024):
❌ Forward head posture and rounded shoulders
❌ Weak core engagement
❌ Chronic pain in the neck, trapezius, IT band, left hip, shins, knees, feet, and jaw

Postural Improvements (After Video: September 2025):
✅ Head and neck aligned over the spine
✅ Shoulders set neutral with better upper back engagement
✅ Core pressure and stability significantly improved
✅ Pain eliminated in the neck, trapezius, shins, IT band, left hip, and feet
✅ Knee and jaw pain greatly reduced

After one year of consistent Functional Patterns training and lifestyle application, Jackie (38) has transformed her posture and quality of life.

From ten years of chronic knee pain—unable to even jog without discomfort—to now sprinting 2–4 times a week pain-free… it feels like a miracle.

But it wasn’t luck. It came from addressing my biological blueprint as a human: Stand. Walk. Run. Throw.

By consistently refining my mechanics, I’m seeing changes that go beyond performance.

My goal is to completely morph my body into that of an elite sprinter.

Spent the week up north, surrounded by nature.

There was a cable machine at my stay, so I brought my to keep progressing in my posture training.

After training, I’d step out into the snow and catch the Northern Lights.

+ Nature = a cheat code for amazing health and vitality.

Functional Patterns is the future.

Of fitness, health and longevity.

Years from now the general pub will grasp the importance of the First Four (Standing Walking Running Throwing).

I have a lot of respect for those who were willing to risk sounding crazy in order to push this important message.

Because of FP, I’m outperforming my younger, early twenties self in every physical metric.

I sprint frequently and don’t experience any pain, when before even jogging caused debilitating joint pain.

Gratitude is an understatement.

Testing my sprints at a local run club.

I used to really struggle with knee pain—I couldn’t even jog without pain let alone sprinting.

Adhering to I’ve been completely pain free for two + years. My body is changing in ways I can’t describe with words.

I tell every client I work with that you shouldn’t workout as a priority.

As a priority you need to identify and address your poor mechanics.

It takes the highest level of honesty to confront your posture and movement.

I’m almost five years on this path of regeneration and I’m never looking back.

DISC HERNIATION, SCOLIOSIS, FORWARD HEAD AND WEIGHT LOSS IMPROVEMENTS

Ashka came in for her initial assessment in September 2023, after struggling with a disc herniation that had caused significant sciatic pain in her right leg for five years. Every day, she endured pain levels ranging from 6 to 8 out of 10.

Before starting Functional Patterns (FP), she tried various treatments including chiropractic care (weekly for 8 months), physiotherapy (6 months), and yoga (6 months), but none of these brought relief.

After thirteen months of FP (as of October 2024), Ashka now reports zero pain in her right leg, with only occasional minor irritation.

She is moving with more confidence than ever and building a strong postural foundation that allows her to develop and maintain healthy muscle mass.
