POSTURAL INTEGRATION PROGRESS
Before: April 2024 (Age 14)
After: October 2025 (Age 16)
My client began Functional Patterns training with me in April 2024 with the goal of improving his posture, movement, and overall health. He reported no pain or injury. We met once per month, and he remained consistent with his homework between sessions.
Over the course of 18 months, the following improvements were observed:
✅ Improved scapular stacking and shoulder blade positioning
✅ Improved ribcage-to-pelvis alignment
✅ Increased intra-abdominal control
✅ Reduced visceral fat and improved body composition
✅ Upright posture maintained passively with less effort
✅ Greater walking and sprinting efficiency
He now sprints multiple times per week and reports easier breathing, improved posture, and greater confidence in his movement.
These results reflect the impact of prioritizing the four motions that define human biomechanics: Standing, Walking, Running, and Throwing—and using to measurably improve those foundational functions.
