We think closure comes from one more conversation.
One more explanation.
One more chance to be understood.

But closure often comes from something quieter.

The moment you stop explaining your worth to someone who refuses to see it.

Closure isn’t about them finally understanding.

It’s about you finally releasing the need for them to.

That’s the moment your power comes back.

Your symptoms do not mean you are broken.
They are actually your body doing what it was designed to do, alert you that something is off.

You don’t need another prescription, surgery, specialist, etc. for a chronic condition. What you need is to listen to the message your body is trying to communicate to you.
Your body is like a child that is hurt. It needs you to not berate it, hate it, or put on another Band-Aid. It needs you to sit with it, to wrap your arms around what it needs and to listen. It is only when we feel seen, heard, and validated that our chronic symptoms no longer serve a purpose.

One question I ask every client is
“Are you comfortable sitting in quiet solitude?”

That means without your phone, without music, without the company of anyone else?
No noise…. How long can you sit without being stimulated???

Are you comfortable with yourself?
Who you are without needing any reassurance?

If we cannot sit comfortably with ourselves, how is our nervous system ever able to settle down?

Do we need all the noise?
Do we need the constant stimulation?

Who would you be without it? 🫶🏼

Can both be true at once or is it just one or the other?
This thought has been going through my mind a lot lately.
Are there times when you feel uneasy, wanting reassurance, connection, to feel like you are ok in this world and can take up space…

I’m curious if this is the plight of our spirits? Spirit says one thing, body and mind say another?

How long have you spent managing reactions in others, proving your not too much of a burden, and trying to earn acknowledgment that you’ve actually lost the signal underneath it all which is giving yourself the full weight of your own worth?

How often do you attempt to connect with your body, your mind, or your spirit?
What does that look like or even more so FEEL like???

If you were to connect to your WHOLE self and feel safe, secure, worthy, peaceful, and content would you need to connect to others?

Tell me your thoughts….🫶🏼

Your body is always speaking.
Your intuition is always guiding.
Your nervous system is always responding.

The question is… are we listening?

When we slow down enough to FEEL instead of force, the path becomes clear.

You don’t need more answers outside of you.
You need deeper trust WITHIN you.

Most of us were never taught how to feel safe in ourselves.

So we learned to leave.
To numb.
To perform.
To push.

This is your invitation back.

No fixing.
No forcing.
Just presence.

Your body remembers. 🤍

Intentional living begins by listening.
To your body.
To your emotions.
To the quiet places asking for care.

✨ Where are you being invited to slow down and tend to yourself today?
