Our HR team was proud to represent our organization at STEM Futures Day at Catawba Valley Community College, connecting with seventh grade students from Catawba County Schools and members of the community.

Join us in welcoming Kevin J. Torrens, MPH, PA-C, to the staff of Blue Ridge Urology!

Kevin is a graduate of Albany Medical College’s Physician Assistant Program, Albany, NY, and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He has practiced urology for nearly 18 years and approaches patients as a team member, discussing diagnosis and treatment options, then deciding together how to proceed.

When he’s not taking care of patients, Kevin enjoys playing the guitar and golf. He and his wife also enjoy competing in ballroom dance.

Recently, our UNC Health Blue Ridge teammates had an amazing time at Operation Kids Health at the Foothills Higher Education Center!

This free community event brought families together for a day filled with hands‑on activities, learning, and valuable resources to help keep kids healthy and safe. Our team shared information on pediatric services, women’s health, and ENT care, answered questions, and helped create a fun, welcoming experience for everyone who stopped by.
