The Foundation also secures grants from government and private foundations to support special projects and activities, and to assist UNC Health Blue Ridge in advancing the delivery of excellent healthcare to all patients in Burke and surrounding counties, regardless of their ability to pay.

The Blue Ridge HealthCare Foundation extends our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us for the annual Lights of Love Ceremony on December 4.

This meaningful tradition brings our community together to remember, and honor loved ones who have fought—or are bravely fighting—the battle against cancer.

We were moved by the powerful messages shared by our speakers and uplifted by beautiful performances from the East Burke Chamber Singers and harpist Dr. Gerri Goertzen. 🎶
