Licensed Clinical Social Worker David Kneen created Cold Water Counseling with you in mind. Combined with his 20 years in the counseling field, Kneen’s practice appeals to all audiences, including children, teens, adults, groups, families, and couples. While primarily centered on understanding and applying biblical truth, Kneen’s work is also influenced by principles of Person-Centered Therapy, Existential Therapy, Reality Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approaches, as well as more projective and play-oriented approaches with children. Kneen has experience with tackling issues such as stress management, family matters, depression, anxiety and more. He believes that all people have inherent dignity and are capable of understanding themselves, their problems, and of learning to manage what they can and cannot change.
