We are so excited to announce Brandon Mitchell as Kirksey Funeral Home’s newest intern!

For 8 weeks as a summer intern, Brandon will gain hands-on experience at Kirksey through a structured training program in partnership with Opt-In Work in Burke.

His passion for forensics is inspiring, and we are proud to be part of his journey toward that goal.

Investing in our local high school students and helping them turn their dreams into reality is something we truly believe in here at Kirksey and Brandon is a great example of what the future holds.

Meet our Team:

Elijah is a Funeral Service Apprentice here at Kirksey Funeral Home and has been assisting families for 3+ years. Eli has been helping guide families through the process of losing a loved one and is expecting to graduate from Fayetteville Technical Community College with a Funeral Service degree by fall of 2026.

When Eli is not at work, they enjoy playing video games with friends, collecting retro games, and DMs tabletop games. Eli also enjoys roller skating and is interested in pursuing music production and DJ-ing. Elijah has two non-ankle biting chihuahuas at home.

We are thankful to have Elijah as part of the Kirksey Funeral Home team, where his compassion, dedication, and care make a difference for every family he serves.
