Last but certainly not least, we want to introduce our latest addition to the team; Our incredible Bilingual PA: Darby Todd 👩‍⚕️
From providing exceptional clinical care to making patients feel comfortable and confident. Her ability to communicate in a different language helps bridge gaps and strengthen trust with our diverse patient community. Darby is dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of our community. We're lucky to have her on our team!

Fun Fact: "My fun fact is that when I’m not spending time with my husband and daughter, I like to be active. I have done two full marathons, several triathlons and my life dream is to be on the show Survivor one day!" 🏃‍♀️‍➡️🚴‍♀️🏊‍♀️🏆

Volunteer Nurse Medication Navigator💊
Join our mission to provide compassionate, high-quality healthcare to our community! We are seeking a Volunteer Nurse Medication Navigator to help patients access, understand, and manage their medications. This role is ideal for a licensed nurse who is passionate about patient education and improving health outcomes for uninsured and underserved individuals.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting patients with medication access, affordability programs, and refills.

Reviewing medication lists for accuracy and understanding.

Coordinating with providers and pharmacies to ensure continuity of care.

Offering patient education on medication safety and adherence.

Qualifications:

Active nursing license (RN, LPN, or equivalent).

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Bilingual preferred

A heart for service and commitment to equitable healthcare.

🌸 Women’s Health Mobile Unit – Today in Morganton! 🌸

We’re so proud to join our partners at Burke County Public Health, UNC Health Blue Ridge, and Burke United Christian Ministries for today’s Women’s Health Mobile Unit outreach.

This pilot program offers free women’s healthcare for those experiencing homelessness or unstable housing. Our goal is to make compassionate, quality care accessible to every woman in our community — no matter her situation.

🩺 When: 1:00–4:00 PM
📍 Where: Burke United Christian Ministries, 576 E Fleming Dr, Morganton, NC

Whether you need a check-up, someone to talk to, or support connecting to resources — we’re here to help. 💕
