🧶Thursday - Crochet Cafe at the Valdese Public Library at 6pm
💞Friday - Happily Ever Afters Anonymous Book Club at the C.B. Hildebrand Public Library at 4pm (open to adults and teens!)
🐉Saturday - D&D @ the Library at the C.B. Hildebrand Public Library at 2:30pm (pre-registration is required, open to adults and teens!)

October is AAC Awareness Month, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems. The month is dedicated to celebrating the diverse ways people communicate, including through gestures, picture boards, sign language, and speech-generating devices, and to highlight how AAC empowers individuals with spoken language difficulties to connect with others.

The Morganton Public Library is hosting a Haunted Storywalk on Thursday, October 16 from 4:00-6:00 pm. No tricks here - bring the kids out for an evening of fun with a storywalk, kid-friendly activities and treats. Nothing too scary though - we promise! Twist, the Balloon Man will be making balloon creations as well! This program will be held at the R.O. Huffman Center in Drexel. Call the Youth Services desk with any questions at 828-764-9274.
