Exciting news 📢🚨

🔹️The NCRTA Board of Directors is excited to open call for papers for our 2026 Student Professional Issues Forum. The University of North Carolina Greensboro has so kindly allowed us to have conference on their beautiful campus this year and we look forward to being in a central location for all of our NC professionals. This will be an ATRA hosted conference and CEUs will be loaded through your ATRA online account.

A great showcase of the amazing things our professionals and different organizations are doing.
We love hearing of the new modalities, research, and programs you all are implementing at your workplace. We plan to continue offering in-person CEU and certification opportunities so you can continue networking and growing with all the professionals across the state. And what a great reminder it was of all of the hard work your state and national organizations are doing behind the scenes because of you and for you! If you're interested in getting involved in NCRTA, ATRA, and /or NCBRTL please reach out!

Thank you attendees, speakers, NCRTA board members, ATRA staff, and Western Piedmont Community College. It really takes a village and that's exactly what we have. Grateful is an understatement.

What a wonderful weekend celebrating recreational therapy. Huge thank you to the ECU faculty and students for your hard work. We are so lucky to be able to come together and share ideas, research, stories, and even just a glimpse of what our RTs do in their workplace daily. Thank you, presenters and participants.

Be sure to keep checking for updates on our fall forum. This years fall conference will be hosted by Western Piedmont Community College on Octover 24th, in Morganton, NC.

The countdown is on!! We are excited to see you all in less than a month in Pirate Nation !

Attention all attendees: 

The decision has been made to postpone SPIF until April 11th and 12th due to the current weather conditions and forecast. We were looking forward to seeing everyone in Pirate Nation, but we do not want to risk anyone's safety, considering attendees, board members, and speakers are traveling from all over.  Tickets/ registrations that have already been purchased will be valid and honored for the new dates. There will be more information to come once the board is able to meet and discuss further. Sorry for any inconvenience, but we hope to see everyone in April! 

ECU birthday bash has also been postponed to April 12th. More details to come on that event as well.
