Dear women, burying your anger & ignoring yourself for others causes autoimmune diseases. And what do you know, 80% of autoimmune conditions happen only to women. So stand up queens. Let your anger exist. We've been conditioned to be quiet, accommodating, and pleasant at all costs.
We're taught to swallow our rage, minimize our pain, and prioritize everyone else's comfort over our own well-being. And our bodies are literally paying the price.
When you constantly suppress how you really feelâwhen you smile through disrespect, when you say "it's fine" when it's not, when you carry everyone else's burdens while neglecting your own needs
that unexpressed emotion doesn't just disappear. It settles into your body. It manifests as inflammation, chronic pain, exhaustion, and disease. Your body keeps the score of every time you chose silence over speaking up.
Women are dyingâliterally dyingâfrom being "nice." From putting themselves last. From never setting boundaries. From absorbing everyone else's stress while pretending they're okay.
And society has the audacity to tell us we're "too emotional" when we finally express what we've been holding in. Your anger is valid. Your frustration is justified. And suppressing it to keep the peace is killing you.
So let it out. Set boundaries without guilt. Say no without explanation. Express your anger instead of swallowing it. Choose yourself even when it makes others uncomfortable.
Your healthâmental, emotional, and physicalâis more important than being perceived as easy-going. Stop sacrificing your well-being for people who wouldn't do the same for you. Your body is begging you to listen.
