Congratulations to our Employee of the Month for the month of September – James Payden Michael

Valley HealthCare System is pleased to recognize James Payden Michael as our September Employee of the Month.

Payden joined Valley on April 28, 2022 as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist and transitioned into his current role as Senior PRSS on June 27, 2022. Most recently, he has taken on additional responsibilities assisting Dr. Gorby with the OBMAT program.

Payden was nominated by his supervisor, P. Brook Wyatt, who shared the following:
“With the recent influx of Dr. Kuzbari’s clients, Payden has gone above and beyond to ensure each client receives timely, quality care. He has taken the initiative to contact each client after orientation, making sure they feel supported and connected to our services from the very beginning.

Payden has also worked tirelessly with both doctors to coordinate medication management and schedule appointments without delay. His communication, organizational skills, and willingness to go the extra mile have been vital in keeping operations running smoothly during this busy time.
He consistently demonstrates teamwork, professionalism, and genuine care for our clients’ recovery journeys. His reliability and commitment represent the values of our organization, making him highly deserving of this recognition.”

Our Veterans attended the Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) event, Wreaths Across America this weekend at 2 locations one in Morgantown and one in Grafton.
