Summer adventures are the best… just don’t bring home any uninvited guests! Ticks might be tiny, but the illnesses they carry, including Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, and Alpha-gal Syndrome, are no small matter.
If you’ve been bitten by a tick, watch for symptoms like fever, rash, or unusual reactions after eating red meat in the 30 days that follow. If anything feels off, don’t wait—reach out to your primary care provider.
Enjoy the outdoors this summer and stay tick-aware!
