Suzanne Stewart Staff Writer The great thing about in-field training during college is that it can help you decide if you’re right for the career you are pursuing. For some, it solidifies that, yes, this is exactly what you want to do. For others, it can prove that, no, in fact, you want to do [.....

When your body feels overwhelmed, start here📍:

☑️ Slow your breathing
Inhale for 4, exhale for 6
☑️ Cold water
Splash your face or hold something cold
☑️ Ground your senses
Name 5 things you can see, 4 you can feel, 3 you can hear, 2 you can smell, and 1 you can taste

Your body needs regulation, not more overthinking🧠

Save this so you have it when you need it 📩

Healing isn’t always peaceful or relieving in the beginning✨

Sometimes it looks like:
– setting boundaries and feeling guilty
– speaking up and second-guessing yourself
– outgrowing patterns that once felt safe

That discomfort?
It doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong.

It usually means you’re doing something different🌻

You deserve support before things get heavy✨🫶

Sometimes teens are carrying a lot but aren’t sure how to talk about it 😣

🗣Starting the conversation and letting them know support is available can be an important first step.

Therapy can provide teens with a space to talk through challenges, understand their emotions, and develop tools to manage stress🧠 ⚖

If you’re wondering whether therapy could be helpful for your teen, reaching out to learn more or schedule an appointment can be a supportive next step✨🫶

If you notice anxiety showing up on Sunday evenings, you’re not alone in that experience. Some people refer to this feeling as the “Sunday Scaries” the worries that can come up about the week ahead.

Work, responsibilities, expectations, and the unknown can all start to pile up in our minds before Monday even begins.

If that’s happening for you tonight, try reminding yourself of this:

➡️You don’t have to solve the entire week tonight.
➡️You only have to focus on one step at a time.

Maybe tonight can be about slowing down, taking a breath, and giving yourself a moment of rest before the week begins.

Be gentle with yourself this evening. 💛
