Because we love working with teens, we chose to partner with a local organization to provide gifts for one over the holidays. We had a blast picking out items and spent the December staff meeting listening to Christmas music and wrapping everything.

We are so fortunate to have an additional drop off location for hygiene items to benefit foster youth in WV this holiday season! Bliss Bliss Bliss will also have a box for items that will be added to our drive. All hygiene items will be collected after December 15 to benefit children and teens served by Mission WV.

NEW POSITION AVAILABLE!!!
Lewis Counseling Practice is hiring a full time psychotherapist to join our group practice. We provide in person and telehealth psychotherapy services to clients who reside in West Virginia.
Candidates must be license-eligible in the state of WV (provisionally licensed professional counselor, LPC, LGSW, LCSW, or LICSW).

Position overview:
Clinical therapist will provide individual psychotherapy to adolescent and adult clients to address various mental health and life adjustment concerns. This position will offer an office space for in person sessions, but also permits remote work. Remote work requires the candidate to have a private home office space and reliable internet service. Weekly office meetings will also occur on site. Candidate will be employee status.

Meet Elisabeth! Elisabeth Simpson, Ph.D., CRC, NCC, Provisionally Licensed Counselor, sees children, teens, and adults and brings a wealth of experience and academic knowledge to our team. She works with individuals to help build resilience and create lasting change. Elisabeth spends her time outside of the therapy office reading, traveling, doing (warm weather!) outdoor activities, and spending time with family. We are so lucky to have Elisabeth at Lewis Counseling Practice!

We were fortunate to talk with Mission West Virginia Inc and identify a need for things like soaps, deodorant, hair care items, menstrual supplies and more. We'll have a collection box in the waiting room here at 1101 About Town Place from now until December 15- please stop by and donate if you are able!
