As Social Work Month comes to a close, we’re reminded:

Healing happens in relationships.
In community.
In small moments of courage.
In spaces where people feel seen.

We’re grateful to do this work alongside you.

Seeking therapy is an act of Self-leadership.

It’s choosing awareness.
It’s choosing healing.
It’s choosing to stay engaged with your own life.

That matters.

Something many therapists wish people knew:

You don’t have to be in crisis to start therapy.
You don’t need the “right words.”
You don’t have to know where to begin.

You just have to show up.

Therapy isn’t just talking.

It can look like:
• noticing patterns
• reconnecting to your body
• learning to feel safely
• repairing relationships
• finding language for experiences you’ve held alone

Healing rarely happens in one big breakthrough — it happens in small, steady moments of awareness and care.

Signs nervous system needs support
Your nervous system may need support if you notice:

• constant overwhelm
• irritability or shutdown
• difficulty resting
• feeling disconnected from yourself

These are not personal failures.

They’re signals your system is asking for care.

So much of therapy happens quietly.
The listening.

The holding.

The noticing.

The remembering.

The care that continues long after a session ends.
This Social Work Month, we honor the emotional labor behind this profession.

Social worker spotlight

This Social Work Month, we’re highlighting the heart behind the work.
Clinical social workers walk alongside people in grief, trauma, identity exploration, life transitions, and healing.

They don’t “fix” people — they create space where people can safely rediscover themselves.

We’re grateful for the compassion and steadiness our therapists bring into this community.

“One thing I admire about people who seek therapy is that they are choosing to become active in their own lives as journeyers toward a greater sense of wellbeing.”

Therapy is not about being “broken.”
It’s about choosing to show up for your life in a more intentional way.

It takes courage to look inward.
It takes strength to stay.

My Practice

Chances are, if you are reading this, life feels difficult. Rarely, do encouraging or joyful life circumstances lead people to look for a therapist. Finding a therapist and scheduling that first appointment can feel overwhelming and anxiety provoking. You may be wondering if a therapist could really understand or help you. Perhaps you have tried therapy in the past and it just wasn’t a good fit. All of your thoughts and feelings make sense given your story and I would love to hear it. If life feels chaotic and your emotions feel out of control, I can help.

Attending to thoughts and feelings is a long-time passion of mine. I have found psychotherapy to be a wonderful tool. Psychotherapy is naturally healing and I have witnessed its benefits, both short and long-term, many times. A powerful process of insight and self-compassion occurs when verbalizing thoughts and feelings to another person in a confidential space.

Everyone has different experiences, thoughts, and feelings. For this reason, I practice integrative psychotherapy. This means that I utilize therapeutic interventions from multiple theories. I will adapt the therapy experience to your individual needs, paying attention to the mind, body, and spirit. My goal is to help each client find the balanced, healthy, life they want and deserve.
