CFTR modulators have had a transformative impact for many people with cystic fibrosis. However, while these therapies represent a significant breakthrough, challenges still remain.

Sydney Willig shares her experience taking CFTR modulators, including Trikafta and Alyftrek, and how these therapies shaped her ability to live the life she wanted.

We have invested an additional $3 million in ReCode Therapeutics to provide further support for an ongoing Phase 2 clinical trial of its inhaled messenger RNA therapy. The therapy has the potential to help all people with cystic fibrosis, including those with rare and nonsense mutations who do not benefit from modulators.

Messenger RNA therapy is designed to provide the correct instructions to lung cells to make functional CFTR protein. A dysfunctional CFTR protein is the underlying cause of CF.
