“When babies were 3 to 5 months old, the risk of a hospital visit for COVID was 24% lower in those [whose mother was] exposed to the vaccine [during pregnancy].” We are all about protecting our most vulnerable. Something to think about if you are pregnant or considering become pregnant.

A 3-year study published in Pediatrics examined newborns in Norway. It found a clear benefit for the baby when mom gets a COVID vaccination during pregnancy.

Congratulations to Fleeta Wiley, Food and Nutrition Services in Morrilton, on being named a CHI St. Vincent Service Hero! During the inclement winter weather, Fleeta stayed late and even overnight to make sure all coworkers could eat while snowed in at the hospital. Her hard work kept our clinical teams fueled and available during the winter storm. Thank you, Fleeta!

Tuesday - we will open at 8am. We will be also offering telemedicine as some of our doctors are not able to make it in yet. Please prioritize your safety and reschedule or change to a telemedicine if you do not feel that you can get to the clinic safely. Hours today will likely depend on the road conditions.

We are going to try and be open on Monday. The roads are still treacherous - if you cannot make it safely to the clinic then please call at 8am and reschedule or change to a telemedicine visit. It is likely we will close early, but we will make that call later in the day. Above all, be safe!!!
