🌟 Staff Spotlight: Laura 🌟
We’re continuing the celebrations for Laura and are so excited to officially shine the spotlight on her as our next Staff Spotlight! 💙✨ We are beyond happy to have her back from maternity leave — she was truly missed by all of us, especially our kiddos! 💕
Laura brings over 6.5 years of experience working with learners with special needs and in the field of ABA. She earned her Master’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in ABA from Ca****la University and has worked across virtual, in-home, and clinic settings. She is currently preparing to pursue her BCBA certification — and we can’t wait to see all that she continues to accomplish! 💫
Laura’s journey in ABA began after college, starting as an opportunity to learn more about psychology, but quickly turning into a true passion. She originally joined UABL when services were provided in-home and later transitioned to the clinic setting to continue growing and expanding her experience. She was especially inspired by the leadership and dedication she saw, which made a lasting impression and drew her to be part of the team.
What drives Laura each day is knowing the work she does makes a meaningful difference, along with the smiles and laughter shared with her learners. Her goal each session is to support progress while building strong, trusting relationships that make learning both productive and engaging. 🌈
Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her family, listening to true crime podcasts, exploring new kid-friendly places, and hiking. 🎧🌿
Laura is genuine, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. Her calm presence brings comfort and confidence to our learners and team, and it’s no surprise how much our kiddos adore her. We’re so grateful to have her at UABL! 💙✨
