Stevens Community Medical Center (SCMC) is a 25-bed critical access hospital, fully-integrated, healthcare delivery system located in Morris, MN. that provides a broad array of medical, surgical and mental health services. SCMC has a full-service clinic on-site and also a satellite clinic located in Starbuck, Minnesota. Among the services at SCMC they provide an Urgent Care, a behavioral medicine clinic, eye clinic, physical therapy (NovaCare Rehabilitation), infusion therapy, and many more specialty services. SCMC is also home to the Courage Cottage, a 5-bed ‘home away from home’ for specialized care. There is a discounted/sliding fee schedule available based on family size and income. SCMC thrives on patient-centered care and operates as a non-profit 501(c)(3).

SCMC was proud to join the Morris Area School District Career Day this week. Our newest providers, Dermatology NP Tierza Thormodson and Dr. Katelyn Steinlicht, chatted with 7th & 8th graders, while high school seniors came onsite to shadow and explore hands-on healthcare careers — from the lab to the OR, dietary to dermatology, orthopededics, nursing, radiology and beyond!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who made the 2025 event such a success!

We welcomed 350+ attendees to the 12th annual event, featuring:
🏥 31 info booths — including 16 SCMC services and many community health & wellness topics
💉 186 lab draws
💪 77 flu shots
It was a full, fantastic two hours — all thanks to you!
