Today marks a return to balance.
Equal light. Equal dark.
A reminder that harmony is something we practice, not something we wait for.

In yoga, this is the space between effort and surrender.
Between holding on and letting go.
Between who we were and who we are becoming.

Spring doesn’t force growth.
It simply creates the conditions for it.

Longer days. Warmer light. Softer edges.

Maybe your only job right now is to:
Get grounded.
Get clear.
Take one small step toward what feels alive.

You don’t have to have it all figured out.
Nature doesn’t rush, and neither do you.

This is your season to reset.

Happy Nyepi to my Bali family 🤍

Two years ago I was waking up to mornings like this…
walking into practice barefoot, surrounded by rice fields, incense, and the kind of silence that teaches you who you really are.

I completed my 300hr YTT during this sacred season, but what Bali really taught me wasn’t just yoga.

It taught me how to pause.

Nyepi showed me that growth doesn’t always come from doing more… sometimes it comes from being still enough to listen.

A whole island goes quiet to reset intention.
No noise. No travel. No distraction.
Just presence.

I carry that practice with me now from Bali to Colorado. The reminder that peace isn’t a place… it’s something we practice.

So much gratitude for my teachers, friends, and soul family there. Bali will always hold a piece of my heart.

✨ 8 Limbs of Yoga continued… ✨

After returning from Indonesia & Portugal last year, I drifted from my practice and felt fragmented — forgetting the magic of reality, the sacred gift of yoga, and the wisdom passed down to us. It was like leaving the owner’s manual on the shelf while trying to wing it.

Today, on the mat, I remembered: nothing is missing. 🌿

The third Yama is Asteya (non-stealing). It’s not only about possessions, but the subtle ways we steal from ourselves — rushing, comparing, abandoning the present moment.

This pose (Parsva Bakasana variation) teaches me Asteya every time: if I force or hold my breath, I steal from my body. When I soften and trust, I return to balance and presence.

Grateful for community practices at 🐐💛 — mirrors reminding me that abundance is already here.
