We are thrilled to announce that BHSN has been awarded nearly $3 million in funding from Governor Kathy Hochul and the NYS OASAS. This major investment will allow us to expand our vocational rehabilitation efforts across the North Country and Capital Region!

Stable employment is a cornerstone of long-term recovery. It provides:

We are proud to share our 2025 Housing Impact! Last year, BHSN supported 337 individuals through our residential programs, providing more than just a place to stay, but also providing a path forward.

From helping 39 neighbors transition into their own permanent housing to ensuring 23 individuals received the specialized care they needed through supported transitions, our team is dedicated to creating stability across the North Country.

When our neighbors have a safe place to call home, our entire community thrives.

BHSN was proud to recently deliver Community Compassion Kits to our partners at Joint Council for Economic Opportunity - JCEO and Champlain Valley Family Center Crisis Center. These kits provide essential hygiene and seasonal care items to individuals and families navigating crisis right here in the North Country.

This initiative is made possible through generous grant funding from The Foundation of CVPH. We are grateful for this collaboration as we work together to provide a safety net for our neighbors.

A huge thank you to every BHSN team member who donated to our quarterly food drive! We delivered several boxes of nonperishables to The Open Door Mission in Glens Falls to support our neighbors in need.

As one of the North Country’s top 10 employers, we believe that taking care of our community starts with taking care of our team. We know that the path to becoming a healer often comes with significant personal investment.

That’s why BHSN is proud to act as a dedicated partner for our staff, helping them navigate and secure NY State OMH Loan Forgiveness programs. In 2025 alone, we were honored to support 12 of our dedicated professionals (including Licensed Clinicians, PMHNP-BCs, and Psychiatrists) in securing more than $333,000 in state-funded loan forgiveness.

By removing financial barriers, we empower our team to focus on what they do best: providing the gold standard of integrated care to our neighbors across the lifespan.
