The Heritage Center

The Heritage Center is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Morristown, Tennessee.

Located between Knoxville and the Tri-Cities area, Morristown, Tennessee, is home to The Heritage Center, a Life Care Centers of America facility. Approximately half a mile from Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System and Lakeway Regional Medical Center, our facility is the perfect choice for individuals in need of short-term rehabilitation, long-term care and post-operative recovery. Our nursing home features an on-site physician and a homelike environment to our patients and residents in need of rehabilitation or skilled nursing care. We are proud to offer both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation for our patients, and our team of therapists and nurses works together to create an individualized care plan for each individual in our care.

We sincerely thank The Elk Rider Lodge 1667, Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, and Heritage Fellowship for the beautiful Christmas gifts given to the residents of The Heritage Center. 🎁 Your generosity touched our residents in a very special way, bringing smiles, joy, and a true sense of love during the Holiday season. 😃 These gifts meant more to them than words can express, and we are deeply grateful for your kindness and compassion.

Friday Funday in the Facility! 😆

What a busy day we had! We started off with another dress-up day (our staff really outdoes themselves when it comes to participation), and then we had a visit from the Hamblen County Sheriff's Office. 👮‍♂️👮 They came and visited every resident handing out cards and fellowshipping, ending with a photoshoot with Sarah De Jesus, who came and took pictures to make into Christmas cards.

🎄 What a wonderful community we have that will volunteer their time to make the residents' holidays special. Thank you to Sheriff Chad Mullins and deputies from the sheriff's department, Sarah De Jesus and our work family! Every one of you went above and beyond for our residents!

💚 We knew The Grinch’s Heart grew when he visited our wonderful residents a few weeks back. When Santa came to visit on Thursday 🎅, we looked up and The Grinch was with him. He just couldn’t stay away!

Thank you to Karen Crumbley with Smoky Mountain Home Health & Hospice, Inc., Jason and Kasey Fox and Morristown Emergency and Rescue Squad, Inc. for the visit and gifts! 🎁 We couldn’t do this without our wonderful community.

🎄 Our Executive Director, Brittany, was honored to co-host lunch today with Life Care Center of Morristown for Tennessee Senator Steve Southerland and Legislator Rick Eldridge, as well as our Regional Vice president, Robert Breeden! It was an honor to meet and spend some time with these two! 😀

🏠 And the winner of our gingerbread house competition is... Brady! Their creation was a masterpiece of holiday cheer and architectural genius. A huge thank you to everyone who participated – the talent this year was incredible! 🎄

And speaking of talent, we ended Friday with Kari Novillq playing the harp! 🎵 She is always so wonderful to give back to her community when she is home. She plays for the Civic Orchestra of Chicago after growing up here in Morristown.

🎉 Congratulations to Taylor! 🎉 Please join us in celebrating Taylor for winning the Whatever It Takes Champions award for November! 🏆 We’re incredibly proud to see her recognized for the compassion, dedication, and excellence she brings to the residents she serves.

She was nominated by a fellow associate, who shared these heartfelt words: 🗨️ "Taylor is an amazing Nurse and always willing to help and do the most for her patients. I have heard many patients compliment her and one even request to change rooms/units in order to remain under her care when Taylor got moved. She is very friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and I would want her taking care of my loved one."
