The Heritage Center The Heritage Center is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Morristown, Tennessee.

Located between Knoxville and the Tri-Cities area, Morristown, Tennessee, is home to The Heritage Center, a Life Care Centers of America facility. Approximately half a mile from Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System and Lakeway Regional Medical Center, our facility is the perfect choice for individuals in need of short-term rehabilitation, long-term care and post-operative recovery. Our nursing home features an on-site physician and a homelike environment to our patients and residents in need of rehabilitation or skilled nursing care. We are proud to offer both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation for our patients, and our team of therapists and nurses works together to create an individualized care plan for each individual in our care.

🌟 Another Success Story 🌟

We are proud of Shirley and the progress she has made in physical and occupational therapy. 👏 She came to us unable to walk, get in and out of bed, or balance while standing. She also needed maximum assistance with getting dressed. Through her work with our therapists, Shirley is now dressing herself and only needs supervision for walking, transfers, and standing balance. 👍

It looks like someone practicing how to button a shirt again. 👔 Rebuilding the strength and dexterity to hold a coffee cup. ☕ Rehearsing the motions to prepare a simple meal and learning to use a reacher to safely pick things up without bending 🫳.

During Occupational Therapy Month, we’re celebrating the amazing therapists who help our rehab patients rebuild confidence, independence, and the skills that make daily life meaningful. 🫶

April is Volunteer Month, and we are celebrating the amazing people of all ages who share their time with our residents. From calling bingo to painting nails 💅, performing music 🎵 to simply sitting and chatting, our volunteers bring an essential joy and connection to our community.

Emma Arrowood, CNA, has been a wonderful part of The Heritage Center team for 8 months. ⭐ She is a proud 2025 graduate of Cocke County High School and was crowned the Cocke County A&I Fair's 2025 Fairest of the Fair — a great accomplishment! 👑

Emma is currently attending Walters State Community College, where she is majoring in nursing and continuing her passion for caring for others. 🩺 Outside of work, Emma enjoys going to church, spending time with her grandparents, and babysitting. We are so proud to have her on our team and love watching her grow in her nursing journey! 🩷
