Dr. Kathleen Hong Dr. Kathleen Hong is a board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist (fertility specialist) at RMA New Jersey.

Dr. Kathleen Hong is a board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist Infertility specialist, Obstetrician and Gynecologist, serves as the associate laboratory director of the RMANJ Embryology Laboratory, and holds a position as the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences, Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed her Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellowship at RMANJ in the Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson fellowship program, is a graduate of the combined seven-year BA/MD program at Boston University, and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the prestigious New York-Presbyterian Hospital – Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Hong and her team not only stay up-to-date on the latest fertility techniques, they consistently contribute to the development of new and revolutionary approaches to reproductive care. Her methods help patients who had previous difficulty conceiving, even with help from their physician. She has lead several large research studies and contributed to publications in top peer-reviewed fertility journals, including Fertility and Sterility and Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics. Her research interests include embryo culture in the IVF laboratory, preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), and heritable genetic disorders. Dr. Hong is one of the few reproductive endocrinologists in the nation who has trained in embryology. She finds this experience is crucial to improving patient care and dedicates a portion of her time to the embryology laboratory.

I love what I do! It's these moments that are the most special to me.

"RMANJ completed my family. Without Dr. Hong and her amazing staff, I would not have received my two miracles of science. I first sought infertility treatment at age 31 after trying to give our naturally conceived son a sibling. After over a year with no luck, and knowing I had PCOS, we were referred to RMA. Turned out that the extensive testing revealed male factor infertility as well. I had no idea that male infertility could change rather quickly. We went through IVF. In April 2017 we transferred the only remaining female embryo we had that led to my daughter in December of 2017. In July of 2021 we returned to transfer our last remaining embryo, allowing us to round out family with our son born in March of 2022. Without RMANJ we would not have possibly completed our family. I am forever grateful for the support and care received. Despite ups and downs, waiting, injections and so many emotions - I wouldn't trade it for the world. My family is now complete.
