“Dad… what should I do?”
“Keep driving.”
A young woman was on the road with her father when a fierce storm struck.
Rain hammered against the windshield, thunder rumbled in the distance, and she could barely see beyond a few feet. The world outside had vanished in grey.
“Dad, I can’t see anything… should I stop?”
“No,” he said calmly. “Keep driving.”
All around them, cars were pulling over to the side of the road — hazard lights flashing, waiting for the storm to pass.
“Dad… everyone else is stopping. What if something happens to me?”
“Trust me,” he said. “Just keep driving.”
Her hands tightened around the wheel. Fear crept up her throat, but she kept going.
She couldn’t see the destination, didn’t know how long the storm would last — yet she trusted the road ahead and the quiet voice beside her.
After a few long minutes, the rain began to ease. The thunder faded. The clouds broke open, and sunlight poured through.
“Can I stop now?” she asked.
“Yes,” her father smiled. “But before you do, look behind you.”
She looked in the mirror — and saw the cars still parked in the storm.
They hadn’t moved.
But she had.
Her father turned to her and said,
“See? In life, you don’t always need to see the whole road. Sometimes you just need the courage to keep moving forward, one foot at a time.”
🌧️ If you’re in a storm right now — if you’re scared, tired, or ready to give up — don’t stop yet.
Keep driving.
Because even when the road looks uncertain today, tomorrow you might already be past the worst of it.
And when you finally look back, you’ll realize — it wasn’t the storm that defeated you.
It was your strength to keep going that led you through.
