Edgar the Elf made a special stop at Morristown Landing to visit Matt Brannon, Athletic Trainer at Morristown-Hamblen! 🎄🧝‍♂️

Matt is there to support employees and community members with their workouts, offering guidance, injury-prevention tips, and personalized assistance. His role also serves as a great step-down from therapy, helping people safely transition from rehabilitation back into regular physical activity.

Edgar loved seeing how Matt helps keep everyone moving, feeling stronger, and staying healthy this holiday season. 💪✨ And Edgar couldn’t help but notice that Matt’s outfit even matched his! 🎅❤️💚 Clearly, holiday spirit and healthy habits go hand in hand.

Edgar the Elf made a festive appearance at our Employee Holiday Meal and quickly jumped in to help decorate cookies. That help didn’t last long though and Edgar decided sampling the cookies was the most important job! 🎄🍪

Between laughs, sweet treats, and plenty of holiday cheer, it was a wonderful way to celebrate the heart of our organization our employees. Edgar loved spending time with our team, and we loved taking a moment to recognize the incredible dedication, compassion, and teamwork you show every day. We are truly thankful for each of you and all you do for our patients and our community, especially during the busy holiday season.

🎅💚 Look who stopped by to check in on our Emergency Department today!

Santa and the Grinch made a surprise visit to spread smiles, laughter, and a little extra holiday magic. From brightening our team’s day to lifting spirits throughout the department, their visit was a joyful reminder of the season of giving. We’re so thankful for our incredible Emergency Department staff who care for our community every day even during the busiest time of year. Even the Grinch couldn’t help but feel the cheer! 🎄✨

Edgar the Elf traded the North Pole for our Therapy Center at Morristown Landing and got into the spirit of movement! 🎄💪

He watched patients stretch, strengthen, and celebrate progress, and even tried a few exercises himself. His favorite? Riding a sled on the treadmill… because why walk when you can sled? The therapists may have raised an eyebrow, but Edgar insisted it was “advanced elf cardio.”

Between cheering on patients, pretending to be the official therapy assistant, and testing the limits of therapy equipment (don’t worry, all approved!), Edgar saw firsthand how our amazing therapy team helps people get back on their feet and back to doing what they love.

Edgar the Elf spent the day tagging along with our Safety and EOC team, and it was a busy one! During EOC rounds, he learned all the important dos and don’ts of fire safety and evacuation procedures that help keep everyone safe.

✅ DO remember the RACE rule and know what to do in an emergency
❌ DON’T block fire extinguishers, pull stations, hallways, or exit routes

Although Edgar was a little disappointed there wasn’t any playtime on the schedule, he took his safety training very seriously. He listened closely, asked lots of questions, and proudly learned how even the smallest elf can make a big difference when it comes to safety. Staying safe is serious business, and Edgar was happy to lend a helping hand! 🎄🚨

🎄✨ Edgar’s Heart Check at Morristown-Hamblen West Diagnostic Center! ✨🎄

After weeks of candy canes, cocoa, and cookie taste-testing, Edgar the Elf decided it was time to make sure his holiday heart was in tip-top shape. Today, he came in for a Coronary Calcium CT Scan to confirm his arteries weren’t turning into peppermint sticks. ❤️

The results? Zero coal, 100% holiday cheer… and yes, a couple of candy canes tucked in for good measure. Turns out, Edgar’s heart is as festive as his glitter!
