It’s always a special day when the Dunkin' Joy In Childhood Foundation visits Atlantic Health Goryeb Children’s Hospital!

Cuppy and crew stopped by to bring coffee and donuts to Goryeb Children's Hospital patients, families and team members. To make things extra sweet, the Joy in Childhood Foundation presented a check for $35K to help support updates to our inpatient playroom. A big thank you to everyone who came out and showed their support!

Something Sweet for Goryeb! For the Laufers, volunteerism and generosity run in the family. Most recently the grandkids of Goryeb Philanthropy Council member Bill Laufer had the opportunity to put their fundraising skills to work by selling lemonade in their Morristown neighborhood and donating all the proceeds to Atlantic Health System's Goryeb Children's Hospital.

The funds raised will be used to purchase supplies for the hospital's Child Life Program to help engage and entertain pediatric patients during their health care experience. The Foundation for Morristown Medical Center is incredibly grateful to these next-generation philanthropists for supporting the medical center's young patients!

A special thank you to Roxbury High School, whose 2024 Rox-THON allowed the students to contribute more than $66k to pediatric cancer centers locally – $54k of which will support the Valerie Fund Children’s Center at Goryeb Children’s Hospital!

Last month, the students had the opportunity to visit Morristown Medical Center to present the proceeds and meet with Goryeb Children’s Hospital leaders. In addition to informational tours and activities, they were also treated to a special appearance from the Soothing Paws® team. We express our gratitude to Roxbury High School for their dedication and support!

Atlantic Health System’s medical centers are sweeping up the top spots in hospital reputation in New Jersey, according to the latest ranking from Castle Connolly Top Doctors. Morristown Medical Center and Chilton Medical Center are once again ranked number one in the state on their respective lists of the “Top Hospital Overall”. Overlook Medical Center was ranked number two on the list of more than 350 beds, while Newton Medical Center, Goryeb Children's Hospital, and Hackettstown Medical Center dominated the top five on the list of less than 350 beds. https://bit.ly/3JDe1A3
