Birth begins in the nervous system.

The more relaxed and safe you feel, the easier it is for your body to do what it already knows how to do.

Save this meditation for when you need to soften, breathe, and come back to trust — during pregnancy, early labor, or any moment you need calm.

Your body is wise.
Your baby knows the way 🤍

When my legs are burning and my breath feels heavy, I think about labor.

I think about the women I sit beside while their bodies work through something intense, powerful, and demanding. The moments where doubt creeps in. The moments where they wonder if they can keep going.

And just like I remind them, I come back to the same thing — breath.

Inhale.
Exhale.
One wave at a time.

You don’t have to be fearless in birth.
You just have to keep returning to your breath and trusting that your body knows what to do.

You are stronger than you think 🤍

Her first birth didn’t go the way she hoped.
This time, she walked in with trust, support, and patience on her side 🤍

She labored at home through the night, listening to her body, leaning on her partner, and moving in ways that felt right. By the time we arrived at the birth center, her body had already done so much of the work.

She moved between the shower and the tub, surrounded by calm encouragement and steady support. And then she welcomed her baby boy into the world in the water — exactly the kind of experience she had been hoping for after her first birth.

It was emotional. Healing. Powerful.

Redemption births aren’t about “doing it right.”
They’re about feeling safe, supported, and heard in your body.

Every woman deserves a birth space where she can soften, trust, and be supported through the hard moments.

If you’re preparing for birth and wondering what support could look like for you, my DMs are always open 🤍

I didn’t become a doula because it sounded nice.

I became one because I know what it feels like to be in labor and doubt yourself.

And I also know how powerful it is to have someone look at you and say,
“You can keep going.”

That moment changed my birth.
And it’s why I now support women through theirs.

No one should feel alone in labor. 🤍

Side by side.
Breath by breath.
Step by step.

I’m not here to take over your birth.
I’m here to walk it with you.

Supporting. Encouraging. Holding space.
Helping you stay connected to your strength, your voice, and the choices that feel right in your body.

One of our beautiful HypnoBirthing mamas took the affirmations from class and turned them into something truly powerful ✨

She created her own birth affirmation vision board — filling it with the words, strength, and reminders we’ve been practicing together — and is bringing it with her to her birth space.

This is what preparation looks like.
This is what intention looks like.
This is a mother already stepping into her power.

Birth affirmations aren’t just pretty words — they become anchors. In moments of intensity, they help bring you back to calm, confidence, and trust in your body and your baby. Watching our clients take these tools and make them their own is the most beautiful part of this journey.

Your mindset matters. Your environment matters. The energy you surround yourself with in birth matters.

We are so proud of you for doing the inner work and creating a space that reflects your strength 💛

Our next series kicks off March 10th, comment “BIRTH” below and I’ll send you the link for more details.

Supporting families through birth has always been an honor, and now I’m deepening my commitment to caring for parents in the tender weeks after baby arrives too. The postpartum period is just as important as birth itself — emotionally, physically, and for the whole family’s adjustment.

Continuing my education allows me to better support newborn care, feeding, recovery, and the emotional transitions that come with becoming parents. Growth in this field never stops, and I’m so grateful to keep expanding my knowledge so I can show up even more confidently for the families we serve. 💛

If you’re expecting and wondering what support looks like after birth, postpartum care can make all the difference. You don’t have to figure it out alone.

Fear doesn’t always look loud or dramatic in birth.

Sometimes it shows up quietly—through tension, doubt, or the stories we’ve carried for years.

In HypnoBirthing®, this is exactly what we unpack together. We slow it down, name it, and replace fear with understanding, trust, and confidence in your body’s ability to birth.

This is the heart of our work at Mindful Birth®—real conversations, education, and support that meet you where you are and guide you forward.

✨ Our current HypnoBirthing® series is underway. If you’re preparing for a 2026 birth and want to feel more calm, informed, and supported, reach out to book a free discovery call or learn more at mindfulbirth.com

This birth began the way so many intuitive births do — quietly, subtly, and with a mother deeply connected to her body.
Friday evening, this mama noticed her mucus plug release. Soon after, she experienced some leaking that didn’t feel like urine. There were no strong surges yet, but something felt different. Instead of dismissing it, she stayed connected — checking in, asking questions, and trusting that her body was communicating with her.
As the leaking continued without change, she reached out to her midwives and was asked to come in. It was confirmed that her waters had released. With surges still spaced and knowing the clock matters once membranes rupture, her care team gently supported her body with medication to help encourage a labor pattern — always keeping safety, consent, and trust at the center.
Through the night, she rested. Her body was working. Her baby was safe. She was surrounded by providers she trusted — and sometimes that alone is enough to allow the nervous system to soften and labor to organize.
By morning, her surges had found a rhythm. They were building with intention. Around 7:00 AM, she called me to join her — a clear sign that things were shifting. Her midwife checked in and, based on the changes in her pattern and demeanor, supported her continuing to labor without even needing a cervical exam. Her body was leading the way.
We shifted the energy of the room — affirmations on repeat, essential oils diffusing, hands offering steady back massage. She moved intuitively, finding comfort on hands and knees over a supported CUB. Each wave brought her closer, and she met them with breath and focus.
We transitioned to the shower, where the warmth helped her soften even more. The intensity grew — unmistakably active labor. Soon after, the tub was ready, and she lowered herself into the water, allowing buoyancy and warmth to support her through the waves.

✨ 3 hospital births, 3 completely different journeys, 1 sacred mission.

Christmas week reminded me again—birth is never one path. It’s intuition, advocacy, informed decisions, and support that protects the moments that matter.

Last week, I supported families through induction delays, spontaneous labor, decision points, position changes, pain-management choices, long pushing, surgical birth, and the golden hour. Each birth unfolded differently, yet each was held with intention, calm, and empowered choice.

2025 was my busiest year yet—64 births supported, 20+ repeat clients, and 133 parents empowered through childbirth education. I’m beyond grateful.

If you’re planning for 2026 and want support that protects your voice and your birth goals—I’d love to help you too.

A Different Kind of Birth Prep

This 5-week virtual series (Jan 13 – Feb 10, 7:00–9:30 PM EST) blends deep relaxation, breathwork, partner support, and the mindset shift so many parents tell us was the turning point in their birth experience.

You’ll learn tools to release fear, trust your body’s design, stay mentally anchored through surges, and step into labor feeling informed, supported, and empowered—whether you plan for an epidural, an unmedicated birth, or simply want a calmer approach overall.

If you’re curious, considering support, or ready to prepare your mind and body with intention, this class is for you.
